Eng. Radioactivity applications in Pet. Eng. Contact angle measurements Interferometer applications in Pet. Eng. Particle size measurements Laser applications in Pet. Eng. Reaction rate constant determination techniques

Notes on the Projects:

Projects should be completed within 5 weeks. A report (about 15 pages) should be given at the end of this period. The project is basically a Literature Survey, carried out in preparation for an hypothetical experimental project (assume that your thesis Supervisor has asked you to make a literature survey for the possible instrumental measurement techniques that can be used in your thesis). More than one source must be used. Include at the end of your report, a table of comparison for the different alternatives, stating the advantages and disadvantages of each alternative equipment and/or method. Also include, if possible, brand names, manufacturers, representatives in Turkey and prices.

Suggested sections:

Cover page Abstract; Introduction; Theory ; Lit. Survey; Conclusions and Recommendations Nomenclature References (Please make sure that you put all the references you have cited in the text here. Also, if a reference has not been cited in the text, DO NOT put it in the Reference List)

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will be asked to give an oral presentation of one of the projects at the end of the term. The schedule will be announced later.
