- Learn digital circuit DC and AC circuit performance parameters, and use them to evaluate a given digital electronic circuit
- Obtain competency to compare different digital electronics design technologies
- Acquire lab skills to verify expectations by measurements
- Learn to identify region of operation for semiconductor switches (Diode, BJT, MOSFET) for simplified circuit models
- Learn to analyze digital circuits built using different technologies
- Design circuits with small to medium complexity to solve symbolically and verbally defined problems
- Learn to use CMOS design techniques and building blocks to analyze, simulate, and design combinational and synchronous functions
