This course provides a rigorous study of block cipher cryptanalysis, focusing on differential and linear attacks (FEAL, DES, LOKI) and advanced techniques (differential-linear, impossible differentials, boomerang). Students will analyze key schedule vulnerabilities (related-key, slide attacks) and other methods (interpolation, integral cryptanalysis), enabling them to evaluate cipher designs and apply these attacks in security assessments.
