By the end of this course, the student will be able to:

• gather knowledge of the history, architectural, and construction features of traditional timber-framed Ottoman houses
• develop skills in the identification of their constructional features and conservation problems
• develop awareness towards the conservation of traditional timber framed houses considering their peculiar characteristics.
