By the end of the course the successful students are expected to:

- widen the scope of their understanding of historical and contemporary concepts and themes related to architecture

- comprehend the relationship between the practical and theoretical aspects of architecture.

- acquire skills needed for basic and advanced strategies in the analysis, synthesis and critique of architectural texts.

- acquire practical skills to complete a set of readings to write one to five-page long undergraduate academic articles.
