Qualitative research methods and approaches in educational fields constitute a significant part of this course. You are expected to learn how to design and conduct a qualitative inquiry from the standpoints of different traditions. These traditions include, but are not limited to, narrative research, ethnography, phenomenology, grounded theory, and case study. You will also have a chance to learn how to design, conduct, and report a qualitative study and reflect upon your experiences for different parts of the course activities in which you will engage with conducting a part of qualitative research.
