This course gives the information about the materials used in medical applications in the production of medical devices, implant materials, drug carrier systems and tissue engineering scaffolds.
At the end of this course, the student will learn:
basic materials used in medical applications
the evaluation of properties of the materials and their comporision
reaction between the material and the biological media as organ or tissue
