This course consists of a theoretical and a practical laboratory part.

In the theoretical part, a number of techniques used for isolation, purification and characterization of biological molecules such as proteins are taught.

In the practical part, 12 experiments prepared by assistants are demonstrated to teach the techniques of analysis and isolation of biological molecules. These include buffer preparation and use of pH meter, homogenization, centrifugation, chromatography, electrophoresis and spectrophotometry.
