Course Learning Outcomes

Students, who passed the course satisfactorily will be able to:

- describe contemporary personality theories such as trait theories, need theories, situational specificity and the social-cognitive approach to studying personality.

- describe how certain personality characteristics relate to work criteria such as performance, counterproductive work behavior, leadership, teamwork and the like.

- compare and contrast self-report explicit personality assessments and implicit personality assessments in terms of how each relate to outcomes.

- develop Conditional Reasoning Test items.

At the end of this course, the students will gain skills related to:

- surveying the literature on personality.

- proposing a novel research question.

- developing implicit personality test questions.

- evaluating findings in the literature.
