By the end of the course, students will acquire skills needed to analyze and interpret earthquakes from active tectonic perspective for various geological engineering applications. Hands-on experience at working with seismic and geologic data will be provided through assignments and students will use these in their term projects. Simple mathematics and PC-based software will be used as needed.
