By the end of the course, the successful students are expected to:
- explain the requirements of each orthogonal architectural drawing for on-site construction,
- analyze the requirements of a given situation and solve architectural detailing problems creatively,
- represent their choice of detailing solution through a series of orthogonal and three dimensional drawings,
- defend their choice of detailing solution by matching the requirements and their set of materials and the composition in the given location,
- describe what BIM is and why it is relevant for the future of construction sector,
- describe the advantages and disadvantages of using BIM in a construction project.
