Upon successful completion of this course, the students will be able to :
- Develop the understanding of the theoretical foundations of how students learn, how knowledge is constructed, how skills are acquired, and how cognitive processes develop,
- Adapt their instruction according to individuals’ cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, and physical skills,
- develop developmentally appropriate learning experiences for their learners with special needs,
- apply the basic concepts of predominant educational theories,
- Integrate different teaching approaches to their instruction,
- carry out discussions on the recent techniques in teaching,
- summarize the differences between different teaching methods.
